While I would prefer her not to work I also think that it is important for her to have an activity away from the husband. So part time or work from home or volunteering would be ideal. She should also be physically fit and takes care of herself and knows how to manage and house and family. Most of the housework would be done by a maid but she should supervise and assist. A good cook would be a big plus.
